1/47 - Glance From Above

This 9" x 9" original acrylic painting catches a flock of cloud sylphs dancing around a curious eye glancing towards the Earth. Light from the setting sun reflects off the sylphs, illuminating the gaze of the sky.

Light modeling paste was applied to conjure the forms of the sky-bourne fae. Impressionistic brush strokes and palette knife techniques were utilized to create the elements within this piece. Metallic medium adds a sense of magick to the dancing fae.
