This 9" x 9" original acrylic mixed media painting captures a fungus-inspired fae basking in the rays of the sunlight sneaking in from the forest canopy.

This piece was created using copious amounts of modeling paste to conjure the intense textures within the wood and elements of the mushroom Palette knife and impressionistic paint application techniques give life to this magical fae. Some hints of metallic medium were used to accentuate the sunlight catching portions of this forest beauty.
