19/51 - The Ancient One 2022

This 24" x 18" original acrylic painting captures the gaze of an ancient dryad who is watching over the world. The petrified wood of this mysterious being was crafted using a palette knife. The hues of the eyes reflect the sunset or sunrise. This piece was inspired by the driftwood that often lines the beaches of the Pacific Northwest.
