7/51 - A Change In The Air

This 18" x 24" original acrylic painting captures the moment a dryad senses that Fall is on the way. There is a chill in the air and a cool wind blows, allowing one of her leaves to escape. This piece was created using modeling paste to give extra texture and depth. Metallic mediums were used to bring a sense of magick to this mysterious being.
